Cathay Pacific Recruits Flight Attendants with a Valid TOEIC Score

Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific has announced that it is seeking to employ Japanese-speaking flight attendants to cater to its growing number of passengers.

The Japanese-speaking flight attendants will be required to take the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)  and achieve a score of 325 for both reading and listening to ensure that they have the necessary level of English proficiency. This is because English is the official language of aviation, and it is essential for flight attendants to be able to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues from around the world.
