The Results Announcement of the 15th English Radio Drama Competition

“Fifteen years” is a tradition that we all treasured and enjoyed.

“The next fifteen years” - we will continue to have a platform for all of you to shine!

The Final and Prize-giving Ceremony of the 15th English Radio Drama Competition for Schools, organized by Smart Education Charitable Foundation and sponsored by SCOLAR for the 5th consecutive year, were successfully held at the Chiang Chen Studio Theatre of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on June 10 2023.

14 teams (chosen from over 500 teams in the previous rounds of the competition) performed their radio drama LIVE in front of our judges and audience in the Final. Our judges were very impressed with each team’s excellent performance, as they all showcased their teamwork and creativity. There were three themes for this year’s competition. They are: 1) Fifteen Years Later, 2) Our Metaverse and 3) Parting and Reunion. We are very proud of our team and all our participants, who worked through all the challenges and completed this year’s competition with a bang!

This is the 15th year that we hosted the Radio Drama Competition and we would like to take this opportunity to convey our deepest gratitude to all the schools, institutions, principals, teachers, students and parents who supported the event. The Radio Drama Competition aims to stimulate students’ personal development, cultivate their language skills and creativity, and spark their interest in learning and teach them the importance of teamwork.
