Smart Education’s “How can you stand out from the rest?” Education Forum & TOEFL Best of the Best Awards Ceremony has been Successfully Held

The “How can you stand out from the rest?” Education Forum & TOEFL Best of the Best Awards Ceremony, organized by Smart Education was successfully held on August 17, 2023 at the Jockey Club Auditorium, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

We were honored to have three principals, Hon Tang Fei, MH, Mr. Ying Pui Chi and Mr. Ching Chi Cheung, as our guest speakers, to share essential strategies for secondary school admissions and address the concerns of parents and students. The principals provided exclusive insights and tips during the forum, and it was without a doubt beneficial for all attendees.

Ms. Elsa Tsang, the CEO of Smart Education presented the latest information about the TOEFL YSS series Writing Test during her speech. Starting from August 20, 2023, students in Hong Kong can register online for TOEFL Primary and TOEFL Junior Speaking and Writing Tests to assess their language proficiency.

This year, the TOEFL Best of the Best Awards Ceremony was held in person for the first time. Due to the previous two years' circumstances related to the pandemic, we could only organize online award ceremonies. Fortunately this year, the Jockey Club Auditorium at Hong Kong Polytechnic University was able to provide the venue, allowing us to finally an in-person physical award ceremony after the pandemic. It was a delightful experience to witness the joy of the students, principals, teachers, and parents at the event.

During the  ceremony, Smart Education presented the TOEFL Best of the Best Awards to the students who achieved outstanding results in the 2022 TOEFL Primary or TOEFL Junior Listening & Reading Test, and Speaking Test. There were over 300 schools participating in the TOEFL YSS series exams in the past year, and the recipients represent the top 0.5% of the most exceptional students, thus truly deserving of the title “Best of the Best”!
