Smart Education attended and provided information on the TOEFL, TOEIC, and SAT exams at the 2024 "Clarification Sessions on Information for the Continuing Studies and Public Exams Abroad" hosted by the Macau Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ). The event was held on January 26, 2024. The purpose of Smart Education's participation was to equip Macau students with the latest knowledge on iBT, TOEIC, and SATs, enabling them to prepare for their future endeavors at an early stage.

At the seminar, held at the Hipódromo Activities Community Center, twelve sessions were conducted, inviting representatives of consulates from various countries and international public examination authorities. These representatives explained and engaged in Q&A sessions to introduce students to local public examination information and further educational opportunities. As the official representative of ETS TOEFL and TOEIC exams in Hong Kong and Macau, Smart Education was honoured to receive an invitation to attend the seminar. Mr. Kevin Chan, the President of Smart Education, provided detailed explanations of the format, purpose, application process, and international recognition of TOEFL, TOEIC, and SAT exams. The aim was to demonstrate how these international certification exams could assist students in their academic and career development.
Notably, TOEFL and TOEIC exams are included in Macao's 2023-2026 "Continuous Development and Improvement Program." Macau residents registering for these exams can benefit from government subsidies and exemptions from relevant examination fees. Furthermore, the TOEFL and TOEIC exams have been included as subsidized language certification and proficiency tests in the Macau Education Fund's 2023/2024 School Development Funding Program. High school students holding Macau resident identity cards who complete the TOEFL or TOEIC exams in the 2023/2024 academic year are eligible to apply for funding.
