The latest research paper on the effectiveness of radio drama competitions titled “Enrich Competencies for Sustainability through Radio Drama Competitions: A Multiyear Cross-sectional Study in Hong Kong” was published on Feb 13, 2024 on Vol. 13(1), 2024 of Journal of Curriculum and Teaching of Sciedu Press . Smart Education Charitable Foundation has organized the Chinese/English Radio Drama Competitions for schools for over 15 years, sponsored by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) for over 5 years,  aiming to stimulate students’ personal development, cultivate their language skills and creativity, and spark their interest in learning. To ensure that our events would continue having a positive impact on students and achieving the goals of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), we carry out the multiyear cross-sectional study to Investigate the theoretical foundations underpinning the use of radio drama competitions as an educational tool for sustainability.

In addition, Smart Education has also published an essay in 2022 titled "Radio Drama Competition as an Effective Tool to Boost the Motivation and Self-Confidence of Primary and Secondary School English Learners in Hong Kong" on Vol. 15(1), 2022 of English Language Teaching of Canadian Center of Science and Education, exploring the impact of radio drama competitions on enhancing students' motivation, self-confidence, and cooperation in language learning for primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong.
